Join the Rochester Civilian Public Safety Interview Panel

Responsibilities include interviewing police officer candidates about their views on contemporary policing, culture and race, then making a recommendation to the Chief of Police. You must be familiar with the Rochester community.

Minimum requirements are:

·      City of Rochester resident

·      21 years of age

·      High school diploma or GED

·      Pass a criminal background check

·      Agree to serve at least two years

·      Attend modified police academy and Civilian Public Safety Interview training

·      Be available during business hours to conduct interviews
