UCLM signs Memo of Understanding with the City of Rochester and the Rochester Police Department
On December 14th, 2022, Mayor Malik Evans, Rochester Police Chief David Smith, UCLM’s then President Reverend Lewis Stewart and President Elect Dr. Dwight Fowler signed a Memo of Understanding (MOU) based on improving relations between the Rochester Police Department (RPD) and the residents of the city of Rochester. All parties agree that public safety is strengthened through transparency of information around police procedures and the Body-worn Camera (BWC) program.
